Counsel is welcome to use and modify this template to apply to their concerns for clients.

For Attorneys & Pro Se Parties

Why a Clear Court Order Matters

For appropriate supervised visitation, it is important that the parties have a court order. We have found that court orders frequently lack clarification for visitation, which can create confusion and delay services for the families who need them most.

Given these and other variables, we recommend that counsel consider our template, which includes these and other details. Upon review, counsel is welcome to use and modify this to apply to their concerns for clients.

"Please know that each party needs to consider that the Toby Center is responsible for the physical and emotional safety of both parents and children."

Your Order Guides Us — Our Experience Finalizes the Details

The Toby Center staff will consider all requests from the parties and/or the court order, but we will need to make the final determination of location, time, and frequency based on our experience and background understanding of the clients, including the age and capacity of the children.

If you have any questions regarding how a court order should be structured for supervised visitation, monitored child exchange, or related services, please contact the Toby Center Program Director.
